To provide middle school and high school students in Georgetown and central Texas with unique experiential programs in active STEM discovery and learning. We serve all students in middle and high school with unique scientific inquiry and discovery experiences in the physical and biological sciences. We place an emphasis on under served students to give them the resources for informed career choices. There's much to see here. We collaborate with www.etap.org in groups of 4-8 students, grades 7-11 for focused, in home on site instruction. We incorporate hands on discovery and research for all students including ELL & Special Ed.
Explore the leading edge of the life sciences through research in the the life cycle and migration of the Monarch Butterfly. Students participate with others nationally in habitat and propagation of this endangered species.
Plant biology as a gateway to the life sciences from Medicine to Ecology.When offered: a two -week summer camp, M-Th 8:30 to 3;00. Field work work in greenhouse and garden. Labs, Demonstrations, videos and science career explore discussions.
